Transformation and Qualification

Transformation in ICT is a key issues as there is still poor representation in the sector. Education and qualification of ICT leaders is an important area of development. The CIO Forum and CenCRA are partnering with the Black IT Forum to ensure that programs like the Master Information Officer (MIO) are leveraged by black ICT leaders, managers and entrepreneurs.

The Master Information Officer (MIO) program is a post graduate qualification at a Masters level. We have also created a fast track qualification program for professionals in industry without qualifications to get a BTECH degree and to further the employees studies to a master or doctorate level. This is rapidly growing to assist those from a previously disadvantaged background to develop as ICT leaders and managers and to facilitate transformation in the industry.

Enterprises face an increasingly complex technology ecosystem and a challenging economic environment. They expect IT to contribute by delivering results in an uncertain economy, while reducing enterprise and IT costs. To do this, CIOs need to be decisive and resourceful in building an effective enterprise that can meet current and future challenges. And CIOs will expect their senior reports to rise to the challenge with them. This program is aimed at CIO’s and the Senior IT Management team and is designed to enhance their contribution to IT executive leadership.

To apply, simply send your contact details and CV via email Andre de la Harpe: andre.delaharpe@cencra.com. You will be contacted to arrange an interview.
